Group programs

Promoting movement skills, inclusion and social development

We have a schedule of group programs available to suit your infant or child's movement and participation needs. Our groups are inclusive and open to typically developing children and children with additional needs. Our therapists are well trained in adapting activities to suit your child's level. Check out our timetable to see what we have on currently or reach out if you have a group idea that you'd love to see us offer!

Kid Playing with Wooden Toys

Baby/ Toddler Milestones Group

Exceeding Expectations

For children in the sitting and crawling stage to practice sitting balance, four point kneel, crawling and early standing. You will get information about balance reactions needed to sit and stand, the importance of crawling for later arm and fine motor development and how to help your kids through the next steps into standing and walking. Some children may be able to complete all activities during the group sessions and others may still be developing early skills & can continue these activities at their own pace at home after the group finishes.

Circus Skills Group

6 - 14 year olds

This group is primarily aimed at children looking at developing hand strength, fine motor skills, and pencil and scissor skills. We will be doing fun craft activities and exercises to build hand and finger strength and manipulative skills.

Kids Playing Tug of War

Social Sports Skills Group

5 - 12 year olds

Develop teamwork, social skills, fitness and gross motor skills for participating in team sports. The children will practise a wide range of sports drills and skills and build their ability to follow direction, work with their peers and learn about inclusion.

School Kids Meditating

Yoga

5 - 12 year olds

Yoga teaches children to connect with their bodies and begin to learn  mindfulness and self regulation. There are many benefits, including, stretching, strengthening, motor planning, proprioception, balance, coordination, breath control, team work and social skills.

Bike Riding Skills

4 - 8 year olds

Develop strength, coordination and motor skills to learn to ride a bike. The therapist will help the children to progress their skills, no matter where they are on their bike riding journey. Learning and practicing a new skill is always more fun with a bunch of friends!
